Our Story
The Maine Mystics FC were built on a simple, but powerful idea: bring people together through the game of soccer and to create real opportunities for the Lewiston-Auburn community. What started as a vision to grow the game locally has become a movement centered around inclusion, development, and pride in where we come from.
Soccer in Lewiston–Auburn is more than a sport. It’s part of the communities’ identity. Both areas have become one of Maine’s strongest soccer hubs, shaped by a mix of long-time local passion and rich cultural influence.
We are not just creating teams; we’re creating opportunities, building community, and shaping the future of soccer in our region.
Through our nonprofit mission, we are committed to breaking down barriers and making the game accessible to everyone. We believe every player deserves a chance to be seen, to improve, and to belong. From youth development to competitive adult teams, we are building something that represents the heart of Lewiston-Auburn: hardworking, passionate, and united.
